On this day, you will be picked at an agreed venue in Nairobi and driven to Tsavo West National park , on arrival; you will check in and drive through the park watching wildlife to Sarova Salt Lick Lodge; here you will check in, have lunch and a brief rest as you enjoy the beautiful landscapes surrounding the Lodge. In the evening you will have an evening game drive at Tsavo West National park.
Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge is a luxury safari lodge located in the heart of the Taita Hills Wildlife, bordering Tsavo West national park to the east. It’s among the chain of hotels run by Sarova group of hotels; nicely set on a raised platform overlooking the vast Tsavo plains, taita hills and the waterholes that attracts wildlife close to the lodge.
On this day after breakfast, you will leave the lodge with a packed picnic lunch; you will have a morning game drive, then have a midday cultural visit to the local Villages; where you will have an insight view of the local people; their unique traditions and way of living. After that you will head out on a bush picnic lunch and a brief rest before embarking on an evening game drive that will extend to Mzima springs, the Rhino Sanctuary and Lake Jipe.
Note: this day's events can be adjusted to suit your taste, it can be adjusted by adding a guided nature walk or removing some events to just relax by the pool side and enjoy the various spa treatments on offer.
On your last day, you will have a morning game drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast and a brief rest before driving back to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be transferred to the airport for your evening return flight or to an agreed venue in Nairobi.
