This is a 7 days Safari holiday full of real adventure; the holiday begin in Nairobi, driving down to Samburu national park to watch wildlife, then proceeds to Lake Nakuru for nature and bird watching and finally head down to the famous Masai Mara. On this holiday itinerary, you will have the opportunity to watch all the big five, hundreds of bird species, the great migration, the beautiful landscapes and thousands of other wild animals.

Summary

This a 7 days wildlife watching safari holiday, that start and ends in Nairobi; the tour begins by driving through the beautiful tea/coffee plantation in former central province and along Mount Kenya down to Samburu National reserve to watch wildlife, then proceed to Lake Nakuru for bird watching before winding up at Masai Mara. Day 1, Nairobi

On this morning, you will be received at the airport or on an agreed venue in Nairobi, our tour guide will brief you about the safari holiday; then drive you through the beautiful tea/coffee plantation in former central province, the equator and Mount Kenya down to Samburu National reserve, on arrival you will be transferred to Samburu Intrepids Lodge, where you will spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the stunning view from your private balcony. Samburu national reserve is one of those less populated parks making it easy to spot animals at a close range; here you are likely to encounters animals like elephant, leopard, lions, crocodiles, giraffes and many more.

Samburu Intrepids Camp is a beautiful middle range safari camp situation on the north banks of Uaso Ng'iro River, west of Samburu national reserve; the camp is well set to overlook the River and the green open plains of Samburu. The rooms are spacious, well furnished with beautiful African style furniture and modern bathrooms. The evenings at Intrepids are full of entertainment and joyful tiles at the camp fire area.

Day 2-3: Explore Samburu National Reserve

On this day after breakfast, you will leave the lodge with a packed picnic lunch for a whole day game drive through the natural forest, acacia grassland and the Ewaso Nyiro River viewing wild animals like crocodiles and hippos on the Ewaso Nyiro River, elephants, black rhinos, lions, leopards, giraffe and many others. At midday, when animals go into their hiding because of the hot sun, you will go for cultural interaction visit to the Samburu villages and then embark on an evening game drive.

The following day, you will have a morning game drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast and a brief rest before transferring to Lake Nakuru National park, on the way; you will have a stop over at Thomson falls for lunch and a brief view of the falls, then proceed with the drive to Nakuru. On arrival, you will have an easy game drive through the park to Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, where you spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the beautiful landscapes.

Sarova lion hill lodge is a beautiful lodge located on the Lion Hill overlooking the alkaline lake full of pink flamingos and surrounded by acacia woodlands; the lodge offers luxurious accommodation and excellent services that is complemented by their delicious cuisines and entertainment. It’s a pleasant destination for wildlife and birds watching holidays.

Day 4: Tour Lake Nakuru

On this day after breakfast, you will have a morning game drive around the Lake to watch the beautiful lake full of birds, surrounded by huge acacia trees and wild animals. After that you will then return to the lodge for a midday break; then embark on an evening game drive up on the observation hill, the Rhino sanctuary among other attraction on the Lake.

Lake Nakuru National park is one of the outstanding lakes in Africa, it's shallow waters and alkaline concentrate attracts millions of pink flamingos, water bucks and other bird species; other major attractions includes the white and black Rhinos, Buffaloes, Monkeys, giraffes, Antelopes and warthogs.

Day 5-6: Explore the Famous Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will drive through the park to the Lanet exit gate, where you will check out and proceed to Masai Mara. On arrival, you will have an easy game drive through the park to Mara Intrepids, where you will check in, have lunch and a brief rest before embarking on an evening game drive.Masai Mara is without a doubt one of the top wildlife national parks in Africa, it's home to thousands of wildlife that include all the Big Five’, the famous wildebeest migration, hundreds of bird species and beautiful landscapes.

The following day after breakfast, you will leave the lodge with a packed picnic lunch; have a morning game drive, then go for a midday cultural visit to the Masai Villages; where you will have an insight view of the local masai people and their unique traditions and way of living. After that you will head out to a bush picnic lunch, before returning on an evening game drive that will extend to the Mara River to watch the large hippos, wildebeest migration and crocodiles basking on the river banks.

Day 7: End of the Safari

On your last day, you will have a morning game drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast and a brief rest before driving back to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be transferred to the airport for your evening return flight or on an agreed venue in Nairobi.
