Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge is a decent secluded lodge located on the west boundary of Tsavo East National Park. It’s a small lodge situated on a hill (Mlima ya Simba) overlooking the vast Tsavo east national park, it is an ideal destination for wildlife watching safari at Tsavo national park.

Tsavo Lion Hill Lodge is a beautiful simplified African safari lodge strategically set on a hill with a stunning view of the park and wildlife; there are 8 bandas and 4 tents that are nicely designed with makuti thatched roof, natural wood logs and decorated with African artifacts.
The rooms at Tsavo Lion Hill Lodge are well spaced and designed to blend nicely with the surrounding environment so as to attract wildlife close to the lodge for guest to watch; all the rooms are comfortably furnished with single/double/twin bed, own bathroom, a dressing area, a veranda, a mosquito net and a lounge area.
Meals at Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge are nicely prepared from locally fresh products and spices, the menu combines African and western cuisines. The meals are served at the main restaurant/dining area or at a private nicely set candle lite bush table (on request).
Hotel facilities at Tsavo Lion Hill Lodge would include a central building with a lobby area, a bar and a large comfortable lounge area, a dining area and outdoor lounge area overlooking the park among other luxury amenities. Additional services include laundry and baby-sitting services.
Activities include morning and evening game drives at Tsvavo east national park (the park is home to over 50 black Rhino, elephants, lions among other wild animals), guided nature and safari walks along the Galana River and sand rivers; sun-downers and bush breakfasts; visit Lugard Falls, Aruba Dam and Yatta Plateau (the world's longest lava flow).
The best and easiest way to get to Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge is flying to Tsavo East Airstrip airstrip then a few minutes’ drive to the lodge; there are chartered flights from Nairobi, Mombasa or Malindi. By road is approximately 3½ hours’ drive from either Nairobi or Mombasa.
Other attractions near Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge would include going on a safari to the neighboring Tsavo West national park (that includes tour of the Mzima springs to watch hippos and crocodiles), Amboseli national park and Chyulu Hills. If time permits, you can extend your drive to Mombasa or Diani for a day or two on the beach.
Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge is located in the middle of a very remote area; there are no modern shops or market places nearby; so it’s advised to buy all your essential items in major towns before traveling to the Lodge.
