David Sheldricks Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe center are conservation projects and wildlife trust where people get to view animals at a closer proximity and learn about them. They take young orphan elephants, giraffe and rhinos; take care of them until they are enough then release back to the national parks.

Day 2 : Mountain biking and wildlife viewing at Hells Gate National Park

On this day after breakfast, you will be driven to Lake Naivasha Country Club in Naivasha; on arrival, you will check in, have a brief rest, then leave the hotel with your bike and a packed picnic lunch to Hell’s Gate National Park; where you will spend the rest of the day mountain biking as you watch the beautiful landscapes and a few lerser wildlife. Hell’s Gate National Park covers an area of 68.25 square km and is situated in the environs of Lake Naivasha, it has a diverse topography and geological scenery that includes cliffs, a spectacular gorge, hot springs and a Geothermal Station. The major activities in this park include hiking, camping, rock climbing, biking, bird watching and wildlife viewing.

Day 3 : Biking to Mount Longonot (a volcanic mountain)

After the early breakfast we will leave the camp driving for about 45min to Mount Longonot, once at the mountain we will hike up using the flank for about 2 hours to the height of 1300ft, at the top you will be able to view some of the beautiful sceneries of Lake Naivasha, the surrounding open plains, the Great Rift Valley and the sunken caldera that lies around 400 ft below. After that you will descend at your own relaxed pace with a brief stop for a picnic lunch. After the climb we will return to the camp before heading out to explore the Geothermal Plant located inside Hell's Gate National Park.

Mount Longonot is one of the tallest volcanic mountains in east Africa (2,776 meter above sea level); it overlooks the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha, on the sides of the mountain are V-shaped valleys, ridges with little vegetation and thick forest inside the crater. Some of the wildlife attractions that you many view while on the hike include Buffalos, Gazelles, Impala and giraffes.

Day 4 : Adventure at the Hell’s Gate Gorge and Lake Excursion

On this day, we will leave early with our climbing gear to Hell’s gate gorge, on arrival will hook up our gear then start going down to the canyon floor across the sand and the warm water streams, this will be a 3 – 4 hours walk of the gorge enjoying the beautiful scenery and landscapes. Hells Gate Gorge is one of Kenya's best kept secrets; it is a small volcanic canyon like gorge with wonderfully colorful sandstone walls, it is approximately 24km long deep stream with sheer cliffs and hot water springs that meanders down to the national park (but our hike will be on a small part of around 2km); the gorge originated from the volcanic flow of lava years ago that created this deep cliffs, during rainy season the gorge could form a large river making it difficult to hike along it but on a dry season it is arguably one of the most beautiful places to go for a hike.

In the afternoon, you will have a Lake Naivasha boat excursion, taking you through major attractions on the lake; watching different bird species, crocodiles, hippos  and other lesser wildlife.

Day 5 : Hiking and exploring caves at Mount Suswa

On this day, you will be driven to Mount Suswa, you will spend the morning hiking up the mountain and exploring the hiden caves, after that you will descend at your own relaxed pace with a brief stop for a picnic lunch, then you will continue with the drive to Nairobi; on arrival you will either be transferred to the airport or on a greed venue in Nairobi.

Mount Suswa is on a double volcanic crater and is one of Kenya’s least known mountains, it is famous for its caves exploration and the wonderful views; hiking on this mountain is said to be easy and no special gear or knowledge is required.
