Aberdare Country Club enjoys spectacular views of the plains below, with the Aberdare range of mountains to the west and Mount Kenya to the east. The club is a wildlife sanctuary with animals such as Thompson and Grant's gazelles, zebras, giraffes, and the more reclusive leopards in its 1,300 acres piece of land.

Aberdare Country Club is described as a haven of unbridled charm set in a garden bursting in a profusion of color, with peacocks roaming its lush green lawns. Aberdare Country Club offers the charm of a private home with the simple comforts of a country inn whereby, all rooms are designed as cottages and standard suite.

Aberdare Country Club has 28 twins and 18 double-bed rooms, 36 of which are in cottages. A total of 107 guests can be catered for. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished and all have attached bathrooms. The cottages have 2 bedrooms; each with interconnecting doors, a fireplace, and a balcony that provides spectacular views of the plains, Mount Kenya (east) and Aberdare ranges (west).

The simplest way to get to Aberdare Country Club is by air. A chartered flight will start off at Wilson Airport in Nairobi and land at Nanyuki air strip. The air strip is 40 minutes away for the camp and is therefore accessed by road. It takes 2½ hours to access the camp by road from Nairobi.
