The Hotel has a peaceful setting and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy after a long flight; on arrival, you will check in, have lunch and a brief rest before heading for a Nairobi city excursion; the excursion will take you through major attractions within the city, then visit the the Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe center.

David Sheldricks Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe center are conservation projects and wildlife trust where people get to view animals at a closer proximity and learn about them. They take young orphan elephants, giraffe and rhinos; take care of them until they are enough then release back to the national parks.

Day 2: Nairobi to Yatta Gap Bridge

After breakfast, you will be driven down to Athi river (Yatta gap bridge), this is our water rafting starting point; on arrival, you will have a brief rest taking snacks as you prepare for the rafting. The rafting will be on a 10km stream down the river and will take approximately 4 hours to complete the 10Km; on this section, the water is relatively calm and easy for a first day rafting. In the evening will set up our camp site on a suitable sand bank along the river.

The 10km section of the Athi River borders Tsavo National Park to the east and has very beautiful sceneries that are full of wildlife, birds and indigenous trees. The medium grade flow of the river on this section makes it more of viewing tour as the learners get a lesson or two to practice their paddling skills to prepare for the tougher grades ahead. Buffalo, elephant, bush-buck, giraffe, crocodiles, monkeys and baboons are some of the wild animals that you are likely to view while rafting on this section.

Day 3: Whole day water rafting

On this day will have an early breakfast before embarking on our day two water; rafting; this section will be on a 30km stream and it will take approximately 7 hours with a couple of breaks in between. This section has numerous categories of class II and III of the water rafting and two big drops of class IV. In the evening, will set up a camp site on a suitable secure sand bank along the river.

Day 4: Final stretch of the rafting, then return to Nairobi.

Once again will wake up early and head out for your final 25km water rafting section; on this section, the grade level is similar to day two, but has more rapids and jungle experience. After about 6 hours will get to our final camp site, where will enjoy a delicious African barbeque lunch, have a brief rest as you unwind over the 4 day rafting experience, then you will be driven to Nairobi.
