This a three days wildlife watching safari at Serengeti national reserve, this itinerary is focused on pure wildlife watching and a short cultural tour to the local Masai Villages; it’s an adventurous tour with opportunity to watch thousands of animals, bird species and stunning landscape. Other attractions on this itinerary will include visiting Olduvai Gorge and a distance viewing of the famous Mount Kilimanjaro.
This a 3 days pure safari holiday at Serengeti national reserve, driving from Arusha with a brief stop at Olduvai Gorge, spending two days watching wildlife and the beautiful landscapes, and winding up with a distance view of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro. It’s a great itinerary with options to customize to personal need, by either adding a hot air balloon flight, a nature walk, tracking the Great Migration or just relaxing and enjoying various amenities on offer.

Early on this day, you will be picked from the airport or on an agreed venue in Arusha, briefed about the safari itinerary. Then drive to Serengeti national reserve, passing through Olduvai Gorge (the place of Leakey’s family discovery to fossils of human and animal ancestors dating back to approximately two million years ago).
On arrival at the entry gate, you will check in and then drive through the park watching a few wildlife to Serengeti Sopa Lodge where you will have a late lunch and a brief rest before embarking on an evening game drive to watch more wildlife. Serengeti Sopa Lodge is a beautiful large lodge located in central Serengeti.
Serengeti National park is without a doubt one of the top wildlife national parks in Africa, it's home to thousands of wildlife that include all the ‘Big Five’, the famous wildebeest migration, hundreds of bird species and beautiful landscapes.
On this day, you will leave the lodge with a park picnic lunch, start with a morning game drive, then visit the local Masai Villages; where you will have an insight view of their rich culture, their way of living and survival tactics. After that you will head out for a picnic lunch and a brief rest before embarking on an evening game drive.
Note: - This day’s event can be adjusted or completely changed to suit your personal requirements, it can be adjusted by substituting the cultural visit with a nature walk, hot air balloon flight or if it’s on the great migration period; you can change the whole day event to just track the great migration.
On this day, you will have a small morning game drive and then drive back to Arusha, where you will have lunch and a brief rest at Arusha Hotel. After that you will be driven to Moshi town where you will spend an hour or so watching Mount Kilimanjaro and then in the evening; you will either be dropped at Kilimanjaro international airport for your return flight or at an agreed venue in Arusha.
Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world; it’s a dormant volcanic mountain with the highest peak Kibo; rising about 5895 m above sea level. Mount Kilimanjaro is popular destination in visited to thousands of tourists every year.
