Lake Manyara Tree Camp is one of the permanent safari camps within Lake Manyara National park – the Park is famous for its large number of baboons, the unique tree climbing lions and over 400 bird species. The lodge is one of the &Beyond group of safari lodges; it’s a small intimate lodge, with just 10 tree houses and can accommodate a maximum of 20 guest at any one time.
The Treehouses are nicely designed and built on raised platforms with thatched roofs, polished wooden floors and neutral colors that blend nicely with the surrounding bushes; the houses have wide open windows, a balcony, own bathroom, lounge area and are beautifully furnished with African artifacts and paintings.
Meals at Manyara Tree Camp are prepared from locally fresh organic products and spices, the menu combines African and western cuisines with additional fun dishes for kids. The meals are served at the dining area or at your private veranda or on a private nicely set candle lite table along the river (on request).
Hotel facilities at Lake Manyara Tree Camp include 10 en-suite treehouses, a dining/restaurant with wide range of dishes, a Bar and lounge area, a laundry, camp fire area, outdoor lounge areas, a swimming pool and an interactive kitchen. Additional services include a 24 hour customer service, laundry services, airstrip peak up and drop offs.

Lake Manyara Tree Camp is about 130Km from Arusha town, its approximately 2 ½ hours road drive or a 25 minutes flight to Manyara airstrip; there are daily scheduled/chartered flights from Arusha and Dar Es Salaam.
Other attractions near Lake Manyara Tree Camp would include visiting nearby Olduvai Gorge or extending the drive to Serengeti national park, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangeire national park or cross over to Masai Mara in Kenya.
Lake Manyara Tree Camp is located in the middle of a very remote area; there are no modern shops or market places nearby; so it’s advised to buy all your essential items in major towns before traveling to Manyara Tree Camp.
